Air Jordans are the best shoes on the modern market because Michael Jordan who inspired the shoes, is a great role model, and they have the style which I look for in a shoe plus they are one of the most high quality everyday shoe.

The Air Jordan 1’s were first released in 1985, and were very similar to other popular Nike’s such as Air Force 1 and Nike Dunk high. The first Jordan 1’s were black and red and were banned by the NBA, so every time he wore them he was fined 5000 dollars but Nike gladly paid it every game.

There were many people who opposed the shoe because they said shoes should be strictly leather and cloth. At the same time many people loved the new material, and today it is one of the most beloved Jordans sold.

The 1990 Air Jordan V was inspired by a World War II plane, explains the shark teeth, and featured a 3m tongue because of all the flashydunks MJ was doing. It was the first basketball shoe to have a purple and teal theme. Also the first jordan to have a translucent sole.

Air Jordan VI is one of the most beloved jordans and my personal favorite Air Jordan, and was first seen on the feet of Michael Jordan in the nba championship of 1991. Also the boot version was used in the original Batman by Jerry Seinfeld.

The Air Jordan VII was designed after a hurricane in 1992.Later Michael Jordan wore the VII’s to win his second championship, and and also in the Olympics in Barcelona 1992. After all that Bugs Bunny was featured in a poster with Michael Jordan which inspired the nickname “Hare Jordan”.

The Air jordan VIII was released in 1993, and were nicknamed the “three-peat” because he won his third championship in them before he retired the first time.Jordan also reached a milestone scoring 20,000 points while wearing the Air Jordan
