Women living in the poorest countries are relying on husbands to provide money to support the whole family. However, micro-loans are arranging the opportunity for women to be empowered. Micro-loans are small amounts of money given to small businesses. These loans are allowing women to be independent from their husbands and to provide their daughters with an education. Although, people may say that loans lead to debt, the profit from the business will make women capable of paying off the debts. Women in these poor countries who use micro-loans are empowered.
Micro-loans allow women to grow independent from their husbands. Men in these poor countries such as Africa and Asia, have the responsibility of earning money for their families. Now that women are bringing their own income, they are able to afford an education for their daughters. In these poor countries, inequality against women is common. In this case, males receive the education and women are raised to learn how to care for children and elders.
