DNA comes with a set of instructions that tells the cell what functions to perform, errors in the instructions can cause the cell to stop its normal function making it cancerous. Mistakes in gene mutations can also allow the cell to do plenty of wrongdoings. These mistakes in gene mutation may allow the cell to grow and divide rapidly making all the new cells being to perform all the same. Normal cells know when to stop growing so they have the amount needed in each type of cell. The cancer cells are being told by the tumor suppressor gene to keep growing and accumulating. Changes or mutations in DNA repair gene may also mean that other errors aren’t corrected. These leading cells are all cancerous. You have a numerous of imaging techniques that are used to detect where a tumor is located and what organs are being infected such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, PET scans, and ultrasound scans. Using a microscope to look at the cancer cells is really the only way to diagnose cancer. This is called a biopsy. After diagnosing the cancer they will determine how much it has spread over the body and
