When people are fighting for our country they don’t go in alone. They go in as a team and help each other out no matter what. This shows great loyalty they could die helping someone but they choose to stick it out and make sure nobody gets left behind. Along with loyalty there are people that are humble and giving.
Dear Veterans: Thank you very much for your time, bravery and sacrifice. Thanks to you we are forever free. I for one have a lot of respect for veterans like you. Thanks to you we have peace in America. Thanks to you there’s justice.
An astounding memorial, a piece of artwork, and a commemoration of all the Veterans who died or went missing is all shown in this text. What started as not even being considered Veterans soon transformed into creating a whole memorial in memory of them. The author’s word choice in the, “Always to Remember,” portion of the title symbolizes and recognizes the bravery and dedication the Vietnam Veterans had to fight for our country. For example, in the text it states how since many people were opposed to this war, “veterans were not honored as veterans of other wars has been.” This shows that since Americans were opposed to the army forces
I say this to you because it is all of this country 's veterans that make this country great, and this country would be a total disaster without you. I also want to say this because you chose to defend this country and without you there would be no army and no military, so I thank you veterans
Thank you for putting your life out there for us. Thank you for protecting people's families. And thank you for putting this country first. Veterans day is for people like you to be thanked for all you guys did for this country. But people like you deserve more.
My essay this evening will be about the organization called the Veteran Affairs. This is a federally funded agency whose sole purpose is to take care of the physical, mental and emotional needs of veterans and veterans families. The VA is promoting positive change in the dynamics of how veterans are viewed to outsiders when they see a homeless person or someone with mental issues. There is a program that is used by the VA called Function QUERI (Wang, Virginia, 2018, Vol 13) which stands for Optimizing Function and Independence VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative program and it partners with clinical leaders, veterans and volunteers to evaluate evidence based clinical programs and utilize volunteers and staff to assist veterans who
Everything a veteran must do is a sacrifice, from leaving behind their lives, to stepping onto the battlefield. The sacrifice of time is just as important as the bravery shown in war, and oftentimes much more difficult. These sacrifices are what make veterans special. Veterans became veterans because they possessed the honor, bravery, and patriotism that they needed to stand up for their country.
So when you see a VETERAN thank them for what they did for and
Veterans’ sacrifices ensure our citizens’ dreams will be within reach in a country that is, in all senses of the word,
My dad later on went into the military and sacrificed his time and energy to serve our country. He sets an example on me to be a good person and do what is right and that is why my dad is my Michigan hero. When my dad was 21 he went into the military and had been looking forward to it since
What is a Veteran? Federal law, moral code and military service define a veteran as "Any, Any, Any"... A military veteran is Any person who served for Any length of time in Any military service branch. However, they are much more than that. These people gave their ALL in the battlefield for us, so we can safely walk down the street, while our children play without fear of losing this freedom.
Veterans Day is distinct from most holidays. It is something that should hold true to everyone’s heart. No matter if you personally are a veteran or not, chances are you know someone that is. On November 11th, we celebrate all the wonderful things that military veterans have done for us in protecting our country. The United States set aside this day to honor our veterans, however we should honor them as much and as often as possible.
Veterans are American heros because they fight for our country. They also fight for us, and they know they might not come back the same. They risk their lives for us and we should appreciate what they do for us. Second,we should honor them because they fight for our country and they try to protect us.
Veteran Benefits The issue of veteran benefits in the United States is not taken as seriously as it should be in our country, even though it is a growing problem that needs to be addressed. The lack of available funding for veterans is especially obvious when compared to that available for lower income citizens, or even illegal immigrants. Also, what does exist appears to fall short in taking care of veteran’s needs. Considering that these veterans are people who have risked their lives fighting for this country, the fact that they are not receiving immediate benefits or even what they have earned is unfair.
In the recent years, the number of mental health professionals providing for the military has dwindled, there is almost no combat-specific psychologists left, and the wait time to be treated for a mental health issue by the Department of Veterans Affairs has drastically increased. Examining MilitaryOneSource and the Department of Veterans Affairs, two of the most highly regarded military health providers, the lack of mental health services for veterans and active duty members has diminished and has resulted in a multitude of veterans going untreated or even ending their own life instead of receiving the help they
