The found out that the group that was rounding immunes up that they got put in was actually apart of the Right Arm who was trying to mimic WICKED and eventually after talking to the leaders, they came up with a plan to try and take them down using Thomas as bait. While they were driving back and forth between places and figuring out the plan Cranks have been everywhere that have been way past gone and they found Newt; Thomas had finally fulfilled what Newt had asked him to do and put him out of his misery. When they were trying to stop WICKED they had realized that WICKED had put all the immunes into the maze and had to go back into the maze and get everybody out. I felt horrible in this part because he wanted Thomas to kill him and they were best friends. When this was all happening I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to happen. Yes I do what Newt to live but if he is crazy and long gone everybody is always running and trying to hide from him. That would have been a terrible life to live and knowing that nobody would ever want to be around you would have hurt. I was conflicted reading this because this is one of the first times I have ever read a book and I hadn’t had a full opinion on what I think should happen. When Thomas had actually pulled the trigger because Newt wouldn’t give up on Thomas about killing him.
