Monotheism
• Monotheism is the dogma or ideology that there is only one Deity. The three most common examples of monotheism is Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. All three religions share Jerusalem as there holy place, where believers can go and practice the idea of monotheism. Many believe that Christianity evolved from Judaism. Christianity believes in the Holy Trinity; that there is one Divine Being, which is God, the son of the Divine Being, which is Jesus, and the Spirt of Jesus, which is the Holy Spirt. While these three things still exist in Judaism, Jewish believers do not think that Jesus fulfilled the messianic prophesiers that predicated great things. While Christianity had Jesus as their prophet, Islam has Muhammad as their prophet.
