Was the moon landing of 1969 a hoax? Why are conspirators convinced that the government did indeed fake the moon landing? Is there evidence that the moon landing wasn't a sham? Why would the government fake it in the first place? An astounding amount of evidence effectively argues that the moon landing was actually recorded in a simulated environment. There are so many scientific facts that make that assumption seem like a reality, such as the lack of imprint from the landing of the rocket or how the rocks "found" on the moon could have easily be found on earth, as well as the fluttering of the flag in a 'zero gravity' envrionment.
Although many people would say the landing of 69' was not a a psuedo at all. An argument would be that if it

When tests were conducted on the rocks brought back to earth they - strangely enough seemed to have originated from earth. For example, the basalt rock which is basically solidified lava. This rock could easily be found on Hawaii, so more importantly how would a rock from earth get on the moon? The explanation is simple, they never went to the moon and just chose a rock that they assumed no one would be able to identify at that time. Another gist of evidence is the American Flag. When the American Flag was planted firmly into the ground it could be seen fluttering. Fluttering, it was fluttering. Scientifically that is simply impossible because there is no atmosphere in space, so realistically the flag - at most should have only been floating. The only explanation for the fluttering of the flag is a man made fan being used to allow it to move as it does, allowing it to look more 'patriotic'. Also if the rocket did land on the moon why are there no visible burn marks or indents on where it landed? It looks as if it was simply gently placed there. But what would be reasoning be behind the …show more content…
The first reasoning was the fact that they needed to divert attention away from the Vietnam War. Mainly because a worrying amount of people were increasingly becoming distraught with what was happening in the foreign country. Secondly, the Americans were known to be very possessive. For example, their history of the Manifest Destiny, which was the belief that American settlers were entitled to claim all of North America. So why would they not try to claim the moon in the same fashion? The Soviet Russians and the Americans were also in a 'Space Race' to the moon, two enemies competing to do what seemed like the impossible. It is believed that the Americans knew they wouldn't be able to reach the moon in time to win so instead they pretended to instead, just for the
