The film “Moonport Film” has shown how great of an honor moonport, Florida has. It elaborates on the changes that have benefited us because of the American spaceport that is thriving in Cape Canaveral. It has made many discoveries and has improved all of those in the community. Schools, businesses, tourist industry, etc. can comply to these allegations. This film will answer many questions; how NASA and the space program influenced Florida's growth, economy and culture, who the creators of this film wanted to communicate, and what this film shows about life in Florida at the time it was produced. You can see this in “Part 10: Education for the Space Age,” where it states “Off-campus courses in technical subjects are made available to space industry scientists through the Institute for Continuing Studies, which has university status. Enrollment in technical colleges at the universities has increased as opportunities for technical employment in Florida have increased.” When the creators mentioned this they were influencing students to look at the space programs they have in their location. They talk about the increase in opportunities for a job involving the space industry, and they wish for someone interested in that industry to find them. With this amazing program in the Cape, the schools can do more than any other school that doesn’t have such an involvement in the making of rockets and everything space related. Also, anyone that’s merely an admirer of the subject of space would find visiting this interesting. It very much so helps the tourist rate and the amount of students going for degrees related to space science. Possibly, even a career at their
