Multiple Personality Disorders: Dr. Ralph And Mrs. White

Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is defined as a dissociative disorder in the DSM-III in which two or more distinct personalities coexist in the same individual. Multiple Personality is not a form of schizophrenia.
In 1951 Mr. Ralph and Eve White a psychiatrist named Dr. Curtis Luther. Mrs. White a nervous woman who suffers from blackout and headaches. After seeing Dr. Luther for a while Mrs. White seem to be getting better until about a year later when Ralph finds Bonnie their daughter wearing some spike-heeled shoes that Eve had just bought. So, happens Mrs. White had bought a whole new sexy wardrobe and then told her husband that he had purchased the items. Ralph called the store only to hear the manager say the Eve had purchased the

Dr. Luther tells tell Mr. and Mrs. White that she has a multiple personality disorder. Ralph is not able to understand his wife’s illness. Dr. Luther calls on Mrs. Whit again and determines the she (Mrs. White) is harmless so she is discharged. Meanwhile Ralph relocates to Florida to start a new job and Bonnie is send to live with Mrs. Eve White’s parents leaving. Mrs. Eve White on her own. Mrs. Eve White rents a room in the city and one night as Eve Black she starts flirting with a soldier while enjoying a night on the town. The soldier after spent money on her want some favors in return only to witness her transforming to a tearful Mrs. White. When her husband Ralph finds out about his wife’s nighttime shenanigans he moves back home and demands she joins him in Jacksonville, When Mrs. White refuses to move to Jacksonville with him, Ralph storms out of her room.
