It’s not just inside the class that’s important, but it’s also the extracurricular activities outside the class which benefit you as well. Having a staff job has a great affect on improving your leadership skills; it makes you put what you learned during your first two to three years to the test,whether you’re a Platoon Leader or the Administration Officer. Even being a part of some of the teams we offer can help a cadet go a long way. Being involved in NJROTC gives me an advantage because it helps challenge my leadership skills inside and outside the program. It gives a person many leadership challenges.

A college’s main sours of revenue in tuition money which as previously stated, is four hundred percent more expensive than twenty years ago. People who are seeking the traditional path into the work force are forced to pay these crazy high prices and are enticed by a pretty residential life and the thought of new found independents. The reality of student debt have not set in yet. Student debt is at an all-time high with an average of 29,000 dollars per student. Because of the tradition of going to school and the amazing residential lives, it can be easy to recognize the severity of the situation you are putting yourself in.
College is one of the most stimulating stages we experience, it's the very first step as we trail up the ascending staircase to our goals and desires. NYU is the college of my greatest interest as I am aware of the opportunities which this school will provide me with. As a child of immigrants who have come to this country to see their daughter prosper academically, I know that my parents can rest assured that I will be able to explore the wide range of programs which are tailored to students needs. More specifically the field of Neural Science. NYU is one of the schools in New York City with a valued Neural Science Program.
My plan is to attend a four year university full time at University of Washington Bothell and major in computer science field because I am passionate about working with technology, and I want to understand how we can continue to draw knowledge from it. In addition, I plan to attend graduate school while working in the computer science field after I finished with my undergraduate school. I want to be able to give back to the society for all the resources it provided me to reach this point in my education and continue working toward fulfilling my life goals. The Intro to Computer Science class at Roosevelt is helping me understand what it takes to be a computer science major student. As a future independent scientific researcher and organizational leader, the university at Buffalo will give me the supervisory, managerial and administrative skills I will need to run an organization. It will also provide a gateway to my future Ph.D. in social work, which I intend to pursue due to my passion for community-based research.
Namely, the unique perspectives that the teaching staff can offer students is impressive. As well, they offer a stimulating learning environment in a prime location, which allows for growth inside and outside of the classroom. Specifically, the unique potential for internships and shadowing is extremely attractive, not to mention the evening class structure is perfect for working professionals such as myself. My commitment to my goals manifests itself in my strong desire to attend the Elliott School and earn a Master of Arts degree in the Security Policy Studies program.
Which involved them asking for help after my presentation, so that really was the only success. So I guess I can say that having and planning out these events did not work out for me very well. What worked for me this semester was the in class discussions because I was able to interact with the opinions and I was able to share my opinions. These discussions also made me feel that I was apart of the class and not just an empty voice in the front of the class.
