She explained the kind of people we were going to meet and work with during the clinical rotations. She went into detail about the course material, course requirements, and evaluation and grading policy during of clinical testing for the assessment. A patient came in for four views of x-ray and I decided to test off on this patient for my shoulder assessment because it was an easy exam and the patient was young, was moving well, and was not in pain. Everything went well, until I went in the darkroom to run the film that I found out two of the cassettes had no films in it. The Clinical instructor testing my assessment gave me an F because we had to do the two views over again. She did not explain what I did wrong and how we can make sure that having blank films in the cassettes won’t happen again. I didn’t know what I would have done to make sure all the films were in the cassettes as it was not the beginning of the shift and everyone who works there knows, you are supposed to replace the film after doing an
