MY DIGITAL LEARNING AND LEADING JOURNEY

The Digital Learning and Leading program at Lamar University was a long and challenging journey for me. However, my dream became a reality with arduous work and dedication. Each course provided me with many new insights and relevant education skills. I loved the way the program was planned and executed. The sense of community was fostered throughout the program which showed me that I wasn’t alone in this journey and that many of my doubts and struggles were experienced by other people. I enjoyed how I had to look from different perspectives in each assignment to fully understand and complete them. I also learned to be more proactive, prepared and organized. Thanks to this course, I was able to comprehend my role in leading change and my responsibility in leading my learning communities through this process. In this course, I created my first video. I learned the sense of urgency. I learned life lessons from leaders to make a change, and this was one of the most effective ways to start the route of change for my organization. As a change agent, I apprehended that I needed to continually educate those around

I was able to apply those lessons learned to my innovation plan. In addition, case studies provided information about the issues that are often faced in ICT-implementation and the lessons that have been learned through experience. I created a presentation that improved my initiative by learning from other failures and accomplishments.

5315 Assess Digital Learning Instruction: I developed a plan for assessing or measuring the impact and success of my innovation plan on my learning environment. I was able to identify and articulate the research topic, the purpose of my study, and the fundamental action research question. Action research is the perfect method and solution to change and improve students’ education. I prepared my action research outline and timeline.
