Throughout my school years I have had to write numerous papers; in my most recent English class, which was my sophomore year, we prepared for a writing state test. Therefore, I wrote more papers than usual during that semester. During the class, I discovered my low points of writing, my weakness of writer’s block, and my problem overcoming that weakness.
In this particular English class we obviously had to write papers. A major weakness that I became accustomed to was the actual writing. Once I finally found my thoughts and formed them together, I then faced the struggle of getting them onto actual paper. I had trouble with getting my point across because I did not know exactly how I wanted my words to be expressed. Often after I submitted my final copy, handwritten or not, multiple copies of my paper were left behind.

A low point within that semester was when I encountered writer’s block. This was stressful for me because at the end of the course, I would have to take a timed writing state test. Once given a prompt, the majority of my time in class was used staring blankly at my paper. Very conflicted on what to say, I usually just wrote what was on my mind and then organized the thoughts and started from there.
