English Composition: How My Writing Background Has Prepared Me For the Real World The word flourish means to grow and develop vigorously within an environment. This is a good way to demonstrate how my writing has evolved throughout this course. Coming into this composition class, I saw writing as a form of expression, but I struggled with how to put my feelings into words on a paper. Writing has never been easy for me because I always thought writing was about what to say and doing so in the right way. Looking back now, I was wrong. This may sound a bit out of line, but it is true. Once I began to see writing as a conversation and not a perfect piece of paper I was able to break through and have an epiphany. I can use pathos to show emotion and how much I care about knowing my clients and doing business with them. Then, ethos comes into play with my statistics and how credible I am to my work. Lastly, logos can be used to show prospects that I am the best offer! These appeals can help in the business world, but also connect to numerous situations. I can use pathos to bond with a coworker or ethos to show that I am the right
