My Major Accomplishments

The completion of the first portion of this paper was a major accomplishment for me. “Hay is for horses as goals are for humans,” my saying goes or another way is, “Goals need you as much as you need them.” A quote I favor by Jim Rohn that said, “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” These quotes listed has it’s’ needs and obstacles, the need to accomplishing the goal and the obstacle being the discipline. For example, I must smash the birdie with my racquet on the other side of the net in order to get my point, but my obstacle being my opponent(s) on the other side blocking it. In order to accomplish my goal, I must find a way or a special technique to get the birdie to the other side and getting my point or turn without them blocking it. Furthermore, my main focus is getting a 4.0 for this semester. Knowing I have Spanish, English, statistics, chemistry and working part time on weekends is the definition of a full time student who is crazy enough to take all these classes at once. …show more content…

My first year of college had me explore that question; the answer is different for every student. I’d say no, the homework was somewhat the same amount, but studying and reading was a must.
