Here at Indiana State University (ISU) in the small city of Terre Haute my first year here is ending. I experienced so much being here at ISU as a college student. I would not have even guessed the things that I have been through would have been so bazaar even though they were. I have experienced having a horrible major.
When you go to college, you would expect you are major to be the least of your worries. Well in my case, it was the complete opposite. Being a computer science major is very stressful. I would have never thought that I would actually be a software engineer. Although the meaning of a computer science major is literally of being, a software developer is a long journey to success. I have spent about twelve hours a week in the

Starting the first half of my spring semester Computer Science course, I felt good starting the first several assignments in the class. The reason why I felt solid on the assignments is because I took the course before my previous semester therefore I know upcoming information. Now my professor decides to make the test grades worth seventy percent of your overall all grade in the spring semester. Leading on into the spring semester when the first test comes to part, I failed the test based on the short amount of time given to build three webpages. Now the latest test I have taken at the time drops my grade to a D+. Then further on into the semester is when the harder content comes about to learn such as: algorithms, functions and more which are the building blocks to computer science and software development. Going through the tough semester with five class of extraneous work computer science was a too much to deal with for me. Now currently I had an F in the class again although surprisingly I have a good understanding of the class but my test taking skills are not great in that class so I need a large amount of work to do. Therefore, now in my life I would like to make sure I have a career after college and make sure I do not hate it, so I will be changing my major to Graphic Design with a minor in Computer
