My Personal Philosophy Of Early Childhood Education

I believe that each and every kid has the potential to do just about anything they want to in life but it all has to begin somewhere, and that’s where I think kids need the secure, caring and the forgiving educators. That way they can grow and mature in every way possible. That is why it is not only my duty to be an educator but also a mentor and friend they can always turn to for anything. There are three main focuses of my philosophy the first one being to teach what needs to be taught, another is to let the kids have their own input, and promote respect for anyone and everything. To begin, most importantly I think teaching what needs to be taught is a very important deed, even if that does mean teaching something that has nothing to do with a branch of the subject. Kids are learning new things every day. They are getting confused from what they hear from different people and don’t know what to believe that is why it’s an instructors job to inform the kids in those subjects. The actions they see being performed on television may confuse them on what is right and wrong and if a kid don’t have much of a home life they may start following in foot-steps of criminals and other delinquents. …show more content…

They could take a topic and learn it in a different sense than what it is being taught. That’s why their input is so important. There generated ideas engage them into the lesson and makes them want to learn more about that lesson. Also, if you listen to what they must say, then that shows them that you care. A kids’ ability to learn, grow massively when they have a listening and caring
