Personal Philosophy Statement My personal philosophy statement is that eliminating the cost of education would allow more students to attend college. Many people graduate high school and stop their education after that, because they feel that attending college is not in their budget. However, not being able to afford college is not reason enough for you to miss out on the opportunity to experience higher education. When attending college, you have a lot of costs that factor into your attendance. The cost also depends on which type of student you decide to be. There are two types of students that attend college. Traditional students attend college and also stay on campus, their lives revolve around being a college student and they don’t stray far from being a college student. Although the federal government had little to no involvement in higher education during that time (Thelin, 2011). Colleges considered the information that was discovered and began to incorporate some solutions to the problems that were found. I feel that if we were to sit down, and find a way to incorporate classes it would benefit the public in many ways.
