My Strengths Of Reading To Children

258 Words2 Pages
After doing these activities like reading to peers, recording myself read, and reading to children, I have learned a lot about myself. Some of my strengths about reading out loud to others is my tone. When I read to my peers, they also said that I used my tone well to help perceive the different events that happened in the book. Also, I could tell my tone was being used well when I read to the kids because they stayed focused on the book and the text within it. I talked to my peers about their experiences when they read to the children and they said that it was hard to get the kids attention. There was one thing I would change about my times reading to the children and reading to peers. The one thing I would change is knowing the book better.
