Equality. Opportunity. Prosperity. The American Dream paints a vision in which each of these ideals are ever present and available to all individuals inside the vast border of the nation. The notion is that every individual can, through concentrated efforts and dedication, improve their own socioeconomic class and climb up the hierarchy.
America: The Beacon of Hope To many, America is considered the greatest country in the world; a place where anyone’s dreams can come true, a beacon of light in a world of oppression. Open doors give everyone the chance to enter, with a chance at a better life, with the mentality that working hard will let you succeed, building America up from the original 13 colonies to the 50 states we have today. However, in recent times there has been a change in people’s frame of mind, and as a result America has started to slip from its number one status.

The level of job losses in the minimum-wage category is the critical issue of our day. It is much more difficult for someone with nothing to rise to higher levels on the economic scale. Inequality is feeding on itself. ”(Zuckerman) that leads to the next point.
America is exceptional, but it has not lived up to its full potential. America has achieved many great things, but has also managed to go too far and ruin what started out as a great idea. A prime example of what started out as a great idea but was then corrupted would be Americanization. America also fell short in the way workers were treated in its means of industrializing.
Vision of America Before Today America the Great. America the Powerful. America the Beautiful. Are many ways we use to describe America. We have had many great people say wonderful ideas and have powerful speeches about what America the Great should be; however, we have lacked to take responsibility and courage to become the great.
The year is now two thousand seventeen, and the United States seems to be divided once more. People continue to fight for and be denied equal rights, violence is a part of everyday life, and lines are being drawn down the middle of our nation. Riots, discrimination, brutality; certainly this cannot be the future our founding fathers once dreamed of. The future that millions of men and women have sacrificed their lives to build. Our integrity is fading alongside our unity.
As an American, I believe that the people that have fought in the wars for our country are some of the strongest and some of the most well respected people in this world. My uncle was in the army and because of it, he is a stronger human being. He also is dependable and trustworthy person. He learned that from the places he was at and the things he saw. People that come back from serving might not be the same because of what they saw or what happened to them.
Americans have hope for the future, honor for the deserving and concerns about issues, but hope in spite of difficulty is the most important. What my hopes are for the future. The present we respect people who fight for our country, we protest for what we believe in but we all respect our soldiers. Kids are taught to have manners and respect people.

I want to strive in making a major impact on our country. Being President of the United States comes with a lot of responsibility. With all this responsibility, I want to make certain that America is the best it can be.
In my opinion, people in today's society are misusing the purpose of abortion. Some people are aborting children just because they are not wanted or were an accident. In some cases, abortion is physically hurting the unborn child. I believe that there are only a few specific situations when abortion is okay. There should be strict laws enforced to help protect lives of these unborn children.
Hope is something we rely on too much. We use our hope as a scapegoat for our current situations or mistakes. In your life, most likely, someone will have asked you where you would like to see yourself in five, ten, or even fifteen years. Can we honestly answer that question? Seeing reports of the news everyday, I see that a major theme is a deep rooted pessimism about the future state of America.
