My Writing Class Reflection

Entering this class I was fairly confident and ready for the following assignments to come. The only thing that I thought would hinder me was the fact that I sometimes write as if I am in high school still. I thought that there was a chance that my writing was not at the level it need to be. The set up of this class definitely evolved my writing and helped my fear of thinking my writing was not at the correct level. The amount of time that is given to us to write the papers we were assigned made it easier for me to take my time and truly think about what I am going to write. Not only was it the first assignment of the year but after getting the prompt and knowing what my task was it felt as if it was something that was easy and I could get it done. Having the feeling that the first assignment I received of the semester was something I could knock out the park was excellent. The confident that I had writing the literacy narrative made it even easier to write. When have the confidence to right a particular paper it makes you feel you are your best. On the contrary once I received the grade for the paper my confidence subsided rather quickly. Receiving that low of a grade was something I definitely was not use to. It made me feel as if my writing was not at the level it needed to be for this class in particular. It also made me realize that I needed to buckle down to get the grades I wanted and I knew to do that I could not let this one assignment damage my view on the other papers I had to write in the future. With this being such a disappointing paper I just knew that my argument paper would be even worse. Not only do I not like writing them but it involves me finding the correct research need to completely the paper which is not always easy to
