Napoleon Bonaparte: French military and political leader, well loved his soldiers, and, in general, most of France. Some say that he is a skilled military leader, someone that fed and support his troops to no extent, but this is not exactly true. Instead, Napoleon Bonaparte is nothing but a supreme opportunist; someone who was nothing but lucky when it came to gaining and keeping power. Napoleon used his family to gain power through their nobility, took advantage of the Parisian government when they couldn’t afford to pay his troops, and gained strength when communication wasn’t strong. Nowadays you can pick up a phone or a computer and send orders, but back then you needed to send letters of approval and such. Because of this, Napoleon had decided that he would take matters into his own hands and do whatever he pleased, which worked out positively in the end for him, as he was rewarded and had eventually had managed to make himself his own colony, which was run purely by himself.
