Should College Softball Players get Paid? Should college softball players get paid? College softball players should not get paid because they are there to play and have fun also they are there to want to play, not to be forced to just have the money. The pure love of the sport gets lost.
Baseball was the “national pastime” in the 1920s. More people went to baseball games, more people followed baseball, and more people played baseball for fun than any other sport. The most famous athlete in the United States in the 1920s was the baseball star George Herman “Babe” Ruth, the right fielder of the New York Yankees. The hole nation began a big movement of the trend sport of the 1920s. It was amazing how this sport create a big impact in the american society, as no child, no man and scientist could resist to watch or hear a baseball game.
There was a girl named Lula she was always at the softball field. Every time she went to the softball field it reminded her of sweat,dirt and it was always hot and sunny every day she was at the softball field. She had a coach with brown hair and his name was coach stone. But one day her coach was coming to the fields coach stone said “glad to see you Lula” then they heard a stomp BANG! CLASH!
This past weekend my softball career came to a complete end. I have spent the last 15 years of my life putting in the hard work, dedication, and endless effort that has brought me to where I am today and I couldn't be more thankful. I have made many friendships along the way that will last a lifetime, and memories that I will cherish forever. Although I'm sad that it has come to an end, I am ready for a new chapter in my life to begin. I want to thank all my coaches and teammates for the continuous support on and off the field, and pushing me to the limits I never thought I could reach.
So obviously softball fielders have to react quicker to make the plays. The data shows that softball players have to react more quickly whether it be in hitting, pitching, or fielding. Although baseball might be America’s game, softball is gaining more fans each year due to it being a faster paced game and the athleticism shown by the complexity of the
West High School’s softball team has opened a new chapter in my life. If I could go back to my freshman year I would have played for West. All the rumors people have heard about Coach Saladino are not true, he is honestly such an inspiring person. Playing softball for West has given me friendships I will never forget, the ability to play with the most robust players, and the new skills I have learned from such an amazing coach. Playing for West High School’s softball team was one of the best decision I have ever made.
First home run Crack! The ball flew off the bat and went as high as a bird in the sky. Aaron is a young 11 year old boy who loves playing baseball whenever he can. Every Time that he would step up to the plate he was always swing for the fence and dreamed about hitting the ball over and seeing all the fans cheer as he rounded the bases. All of times Aaron had played he never had home run but was always close sometimes hitting the wall just short of the ball going over it: but today that was about to change.
Have you ever heard of softball? Have you ever thought of playing softball? It is a very fun and exciting sport- but it takes a lot of preparation before you can start. Today I will be telling you about the rules of softball, the positions, and the supplies you need.
Being involved in sports teaches vital life lessons that will promote you to overcome challenges you endure in everyday life. The passion and leadership required in the sport of softball reflect the qualities to be successful in my education. My life-long experiences in softball have helped me develop into the person I am today in pursuing my academic career. Through my background of being highly committed to the game, taking on leadership roles and balancing academics with athletics it has prepared me for college. Softball is very meaningful to me and is one of my main commitments.
Crack went the bat as I swung hard into the pitch. When I awoke this morning I didn’t think I would be hitting my first home run and win the game for my team. Awoke at 10:00 am. It was a beautiful day in Chicago, Illinois. I brushed my teeth, watched a little t.v, and threw on my baseball jersey.
A field shaped like a diamond followed by a meadow of grass. Sixty foot base paths that surrounds the infield in a counterclockwise direction. A batting count of three balls and two strikes. Three outs total in all seven innings of pure determined, back and forth softball between two teams. This place has been my home for years.
For the last eight years, softball has shaped my life and taught me many things about leadership, sportsmanship, and how to work as a team. Softball has always made me happy, it’s not just the sport that makes me happy, but it’s the place that I get to go and the people that I get to play it with. Every time I’m on the field or in the cages I feel the most content. The softball field and cages are my sanctuary.
I like to spend my time outdoors, playing softball; it’s very important to be outside because you can enjoy the nature’s God has given us. Being outside is very soothing; it helps to focus on the important things in life. Nature is like a second home to humans. We can survive on our own in nature because we can live on the resources that are provided by nature.
For a young baseball player one of the highest goals to achieve is hitting a homerun -for me that was all I wanted. I already achieved most of what I wanted in baseball, and one of my proudest was a no-hitter, but it was no home run. When I first realized how bad I wanted this feat was one night after a practice where all we did was just hit. The majority of my teammates hit at least one homerun that practice, but me I hit the fence but never was able to send one over. The car ride home after the practice was horrible, I was a mess.
My Experiences in Softball Crack! That was the sound echoing off my bat. Down the baseline I went running, turning first base looking to see where the ball was. Sliding into second base, I was safe. I stood up and heard the roar of the crowd.
