Being a part of the National Honor Society will help me to improve academically, and socially. I would also like to advance my leadership abilities and be able to contribute to more service activities. One of my goals is to be a good role model to other students and show how hard work and dedication will pay off. I love the quote, “Life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself.” To me, this quote means that whatever you do in life, shows who you are as a person, and the NHS will help me do that. I want to build my leadership skills, service opportunities, and character, and being a member of the National Honor Society would help me to accomplish these goals. I believe being a part of the National Honor Society would help provide me with more opportunities to volunteer. In the past two years, I have volunteered at my church to help with the children's classes. During this, I have found out that I love serving other people and I would like to be a part of more opportunities to help others. One leadership role I currently have is a teacher assistant for 3&4-year-olds. As a teacher assistant in the 3&4-year-old Sunday school classroom, I have many responsibilities. My roles include checking kids in, implementing curriculum, organizing activities, and helping kids with a craft.
