National Junior Honor Society An important factor about national junior honor society is being a leader. You have to be able to find solutions to problems and have good character and social skills at all time. Being a leader starts with failed attempts and the drive to succeed. With all these statements in mind I believe I have many of these characteristics and others.
When I first hear about National Honor Society in the beginning of my middle school years I knew that it was something I not only wanted to be a part of but that I was meant to be a part of. Growing up much of my time was spent around adults causing me to mature quickly and realize things others my age did not. I have always been driven and independent and accept noting but the best from myself especially when it comes to academics. I maintained straight A's all throughout my education up until high school. Having a 6.4 GPA freshman year and a 6.1 GPA at the beginning of junior year as well as being number 141 of 713 in my class.
National Honor Society Personal Prompt Being selected out of hundreds of students to be a candidate for membership in the National Honor Society is a wonderful privilege of mine; it also portrayed that I achieved great thing in my years of school. Throughout my academic career, I acquired many great traits including honesty, scholarship, service, leadership, and character. I dislike when others lie and I feel if I were to lie, I will never achieve anything good in life. In my years of high school, I am attending the Academy of Sciences and remained in the top one hundred of my class.

I should be considered to be in National Junior Honors Society because I show scholarship and leadership, I have done many community service activities, and I show character and citizenship. I have done many activities involving scholarship and leadership. I am in violin, chorus, and other in-school and after school activities. This means I am familiar with other sides of school, and I can share my experiences and try to make them fit into what we do/what is done in NJHS.
I would like to become an active member of Carrboro High School’s National Honor Society in order to benefit my community through service. I am immensely committed to serving and improving my community, as I have made distinctly clear with my 143 service hours. Through these service hours, I have focused on the improvement of the future community by helping disenfranchised refugee children coming from horrible living conditions in Western Africa, by teaching children about biology, chemistry, and scientific history, by preparing freshmen for their high school careers, by raising money to protect and aid voiceless animals hurt in car crashes and other human infringements, and by creating rain gardens, planting food crops, and decreasing Carrboro High School’s environmental
A member of the National Honor Society must demonstrate his/her commitment to academics as well as making an impact on the community surrounding them. A person who is able to successfully do both is someone who has qualities of leadership and scholarship, but also has a good character and chooses to help others without expecting anything in return. In all likelihood, I would be a good representative of the National Honor Society, because these are things I stand for and qualities I display in my daily routine. In my opinion, the most important part of living is the path you take in deciding how you want to live your life.
There are many reasons I believe I should be inducted into National Honors Society. First, I maintain an A grade average. Second, I am a leader in my school and community. Third, I am very active with actives in and out of school. These are all great qualities to have.
It is an honor to be chosen to apply for the Columbus Chapter of National Honor Society. National Honor Society has always been something I have strived to be apart of. After reading the the criteria for this honor I feel that I have demonstrated the qualities associated with this organization. I feel that I am deserving of this honor because I truly strive to be the best student I can be in school. I work hard in school and always an prepared when it comes to a quiz or a test.
The first reason why I should be in National Junior Honor Society is because of my leadership skills. The first example of my leadership skills are applied to my youth group in the Cecilton Parish. I am the treasurer and help with the Ideas for fundraising. We, as a group held a spaghetti dinner for the church and I managed the money and the setting. Pursuing this further, I actively show leadership in school.
Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.
I feel I am exactly the type of person needed in your society. I have a positive attitude about learning; I enjoy participating in class; I am a very good leader; I follow directions; I am a responsible person and I believe I have a service oriented personality. I am fully aware that if I make the National Honor Junior Society I will have to attend after school meetings. Also have to attend and help in service activities. This does not affect my decision this just makes me appreciate it even more.
It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.
As a candidate of National Honor Society, I possess the qualities as it will include leadership and character. I have taken the most difficult honor courses since the beginning of highschool and still maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout. Also, I have joined clubs to expand my knowledge of certain areas, which include DECA and Spanish Club. To add, I have been to two competitions, including this year 's Academic Team. Furthermore, I lead some of my classes, teaching them how do some of the work while having patience and confidence as I help them.
When I was 14, I saw my remarkable cousin walk across the stage to receive her award for all her years of dedication to be inducted into National Honor Society. She encompassed all the requirements for entrance into the National Honor Society and ever since then, I have had my mindset on following in her footsteps and stepping even farther to conquer the indefinite. As I opened the letter to be invited to apply for membership, I could not even remember the last time my eyes and smile sprouted that immense because to me, being nominated to be a member of the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. I would be thrilled to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it would present to me. Joining NHS would allow me to grow as a person and do as much as I can for others.
When I first learned that I could potentially become a member of the National Honor Society, I wanted to achieve to become a member. I know this organization does great deeds for the community all around the world; I would definitely take pride to be in the organization that ensures that a difference will be made. I would also like to generate a difference in my generation along with others. National Honor Society always recognizes students that are exemplary in and outside of school. For instance, my GPA is 3.9 as my grades are my top priority in school and that is what colleges will be looking at along with other criteria’s.
