The Causes and Effects of the European Explorers For my Introduction I will be talking about the 1st attempt by europeans to colonize the New world around 1,000 A.D. What I already know is Europeans travel around the world to discover new things and the other countries wanted to find the ocean routes to asia. They were placed on the MayFlower in the 1620’s and were on it for 2 months there were only 102 people left. And landed on a place called Plymouth Rock,Massachusetts. When they got there they made it into a huge village and it was livable, but also they taking the native americans land. It was expanding left and right more and more settlers were coming to live here. When the winter came and it was time to stock up on meat and important necessities to survive through the winter.They always relied on the native americans to get them food for the winter instead of doing it themselves. The indians got affected by bad diseases because of the europeans. About 90 percent of the indians population got infected.
