When the Nazi party came to power in 1933, they saw the education system as a way to shape young minds of children to create a future generation of upstanding citizens in Germany. They made many significant changes to the education system to align it with their ideology. Since the nazis were such a quickly growing force of power they were able to manipulate their way into changing the school system for young children being raised in Germany. Children were taught to treat Jewish People worse, physical education was most important and women’s education changed significantly, and children were taught the Fuhrer's race is the purest and to spread Nazism.

A young German girl named Ruth slowly distanced herself from her Jewish friends due to Hitler’s hateful speech toward Jewish people. Towards the end, she did not speak to her Jewish classmates at all anymore. She even wrote down people who did talk to them. She did this all because they were Jewish. This goes to show how Hitler’s teachings made people start to react towards Jewish people. Another example of this is shown in document five. In document five, kids who grew up in Germany were taught that Hitler was a Supergod and that the Jews were evil. Jews were even sometimes portrayed as Connotations of the Devil. An example of this is shown in document three, German girls attend school until the age of 14 they went to school Monday through Saturday but had no textbooks and no homework, and their education was minimal except in matters relating to childbirth. “Girls do not require the same sort of Education that is essential for boys.
