Positivity of the Mongolian Empire
“A leader can never be happy until his people are happy” (Genghis Khan). Genghis Khan Was the leader of the Mongolian empire. He led them to conquering most of Asia and Europe. The Mongolian empire started as a group of nomads that took over most of southeast Asia. This empire lasted long and left some positive and negative effects behind. Furthermore, the positive long-lasting effects of the Mongolian Empire outweigh the negative. First, the Mongolian Empire linked many countries together and led to the discovery of others. This happened because trade flourished, Europeans, and Columbus started exploring. Trade thrived and grew during the time the Mongols ruled and continued to thrive long after. This linked all the countries in Europe and this benefited them for a truly long time. In addition to that, the Europeans (thanks to Marco Polo who told them about the Mongols) were inspired to find a way to Asia by the ocean. They linked the world together, helped start European exploration, Influenced some cultural changes. They caused death and spread people all over, however, if they had not the cultures would not be the same and the world would have over populated. These all explain that the Mongolian empire may not have been as bad as some of the history books have told them to be. The mongolian empire was a major benefactor on some fantastic effects that would happen a long time in the future. Moreover they had more positive than bad.. This empire may have been thought to be all bad still they definitely had some wonderful effects too.
