“That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.” These famous words, spoken by Neil Armstrong on July 20, 1969, marked the famous occasion of the first man on the moon. The successful Apollo 11 mission had many memorable moments and had several great accomplishments. This day has forever gone down in history. Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin, and Michael Collins were the center of attention up in space. Armstrong grew up in Ohio and became a U.S. Navy Pilot at the age of __. Throughout his life, he was known as a very modest man who tried his absolute hardest to avoid the spotlight.
