The movement of New Jersey authority in order to protect students from bullying within the state represents a step forward the children’s civil rights. Bullying is identified not just a harmful action towards students, but also considered as a violation to the rights of the student to be in school. Therefore, New Jersey Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, the one of the toughest Anti-Bullying law in the nation, was created in order to strengthen and overcome the loopholes in the 2002 Anti-Bullying law (U.S. Department of Education, 2011).
