When newton made his three laws it changed the way we look at motion, gravity and reality. In 1666 Sir Isaac Newton was 23 and he was sitting under a tree. A apple happened to fall and he was sitting and watched it. It made him think about gravity and speed. He asked himself, what it felt like? And what determined the speed of that falling apple. What makes the apple go down and not up? What forces of nature acted upon the apple? All these questions were quickly answered by newton. Newton helped make our earth and its physics easier to understand and revolutionized how we look at science still to this day. Newton made his theory for gravity and its the same one we go by today. He said that the large mass of earth pulls objects towards it and that every attracts every other mass in the universe. Just like when you hit a pop fly ball and it comes right back down. Gravity pulls all objects down and holds them down that's why we go straight to the ground when were airbourne. Also that's what holds everything to the ground and puts everything in place like the orbit of our moon. …show more content…

Gravity can count as and outside object. that's why things naturally slow down when nothing touches it. An example would be like when you kick a soccer ball it is at rest and not moving until your foot (the outside force) kicks it. Then it takes a second to slow down is because gravity works against it and slows it down. Gravity plays the role of an outside force here. Other things that could be outside forces would be water in a pool, or even a person stopping a soccer ball from
