I am the Lead Case Manager at Pensacola Naval Hospital and I would like to recommend Miss Traci Allen for consideration into the United Navy Reserves as a commissioned officer in Navy Nurse Corps. Miss Allen possesses the qualities that are imperative in today’s Navy. Miss Allen demonstrated the ability to quickly assume the role of Nurse Case Manager from her previous role as Emergency Room Register Nurse. Miss Allen is responsible for the oversight of 8,000 enrollees managed at the Naval Hospital Family Medicine clinic, to include but not limited to active duty personnel, beneficiaries, and retirees. She works as an integrate member to the interdisciplinary team, ensuring and adhering to the highest standard of patient care in an ever changing health care environment.
Short story I was a single point of failure. Other event duties had shift work to relieve while the other slept. I did not, so my dilemma was to stay up for three days with no sleep and issue, track, receive the unit’s equipment, avoiding a report of survey or pick a shift to work with sleep. But at the same time I had to rely on the men to take care and return the proper equipment with no discrepancies.

At some point in our lives we experience troubling times, whether it 's a minor problem or a major one. Some of us have experienced things we cannot even begin to imagine. Saint Vincent Hospital is grappling with a hospital wide issue involving workflow. Data analysis demonstrates that approximately 75% of all admissions and discharges to inpatient units occur during the 3-11 shift. Both patients and 3-11 staff voice tremendous dissatisfaction. Patient complaints include waiting around on 7-3 shift anticipating discharge, and not feeling safe driving home after dark; especially in winter months. Staff of the 3-11 shift express it makes little sense that more support i.e. doctors, social workers, discharge planners etc. are employed on 7-3 shift; yet the majority of discharges/ admissions occur on 3-11.

The Curious Camden Does a Research Paper in the Day and Night-Time Not all books are a joy to read, especially when someone is as impatient as I am. However, a recent novel that I read was anything but a disappointment. The novel ‘The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime’ was fascinating and drew my attention from the first page. The novel is about an adolescent boy, who has to deal with his diagnosis of autism. In his world, almost everything is from a different perspective, whether good or bad is not for me to decide.
In the story, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” there are three very important parts of the story. These three components are conflict, point-of-view, and plot. These things are a key part of the story because they build up the tension and help to tell the story well. The first important component of the story is conflict.
At the heart of every great town and city there is a night time economy, where diverse populations come together for excitement and spontaneity. The evening and the night time economy are particularly important to cities, having a variety of leisure and cultural offer can play an important factor for the reason why workers and students choose to move to cities (Manchester City Council, 2014). I would not be interested in having the kinds of experiences Christopher, the main character had to go through in the book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time for many reasons. To start off with, Christopher, the main character, has way too many problems that occur in his life which I would not like to come across. The first reason I would not like to be involved is because I would not like to be lied about my mother being dead cause of a heart attack which is already horrific enough, but it's even more dreadful because your own father lied to you about it. Additionally, I would also not like to see my parents being divorced, living very far away and always fighting and shouting at each other every time they meet. Another big
Upon arriving to the unit this morning, I quickly realized today was going to be a chaotic day with the current patient census, and all of the new admissions. I was able to assist the night charge nurse with today’s assignments, while she helped with the code, and the day began. I informed my team that today was going to be a long day, and encouraged them to use each other and myself for help. I recommended they taking a few minutes to coordinate their work after receiving report. At 0745, when Jane informs me that the patient in 408 has fallen, I am quick to get into the room and do an assessment again.
Casualisation gives employers and managers the flexibility to recruit and is used to benefit the organisation when restructuring their operations and practices. It can also be used to increase productivity and competitiveness. As there is a growing population in casualisation, it means that staff are choosing to become casual and employers need to provide these employees with contracts and work that makes them loyal to the organisation and a decrease in staff turn-over. Employers view casualisation as more flexible and efficient work practice that delivers both higher productively and lower employment costs.
