The Greek Goddess, Nike exemplifies speed, strength, and victory. Nike in Greek culture had three deities sisters, First her Rivalry (Zelos) , Second her supremacy (Cratos), and third Bia who was just personified as Force. Alongside Nikes three sisters her parents were, Styx their mother who is the (daughter of the ocean) and their father was Palas, known as the titan. In Greek mythology there were many battles alongside the great gods of this history, Nike was a Allie of the mighty Zeus during the Titanomachy conflict witch the Olympians won the battle over the titans dividing the universe with three gods, Zeus with the sky and mortals, Poseidon with the ocean, and hades with the underworld. Each one of these symbols has a meaning to her character and resembles something. For instance her Laurel wreath, she carries this with her hand resembling victory, and Nike is known for this attribute. The laurel wreath is the most important out of all of them because it shows her true meaning and what she has accomplished over the Titans. Nike’s wings play a huge role in her character also because besides being outlined as the goddess of victory, she is also the goddess of speed and strength.
