Imagine if america had no rules, there are some people that really wish that they had no rules due to them being too strict. But if there were actually no rules, it would be pretty bad, at first it will just be the utopia dream we all have then some insane people would do stuff like murder, rape, assault, burglary, and kidnapping which would cause lots of stress and need for the authorities to make rules again. The Lord of the Flies is a book by William Golding, about english kids that get stuck on an island and have to fend for themselves, at first the no authorities is utopia, but the bossless environment is shown to be bad due to the gruesome murders, and its due to the good organization being non existent. The first reason that no rules is Lord of the flies aka chaos is that when simon was killed and mistaken for the beast so they lost control and killed, and it was completely ruthless and gruesome, especially when his dead body was just lying in the ocean. With the kinda sad information, according to the book, “The rock struck Piggy a glancing blow from chin to knee; the conch exploded into a thousand white fragments and ceased to exist. Piggy, saying nothing, with no time for even a grunt, traveled through the air sideways from the rock, turning over as he went. The rock bounded twice and was lost in the forest”, (Golding). This basically means that Rodger killed Piggy with a rock to make him shut up because he was blowing the conch so people could here what he had to say after Ralph and Jack were fighting, and Roger not caring dropped the rock, or boulder and the force killed Piggy and completely traumatized Ralph to the point where he was the only sane person left that really questioned the need
