According to our book, nonprofit agencies has 6 advantages over governmental or market-origin agencies: 1. It can help those that are in need because of market and governmental failure, for example, the near-poor population, by official standard they are considered above the poverty line, but maybe someone in the household is seriously ill, and the household is suddenly under the line, but still unrecognized by governmental and market-origin agencies. 2. Their primary motivation is to deliver qualified services, not to earn money or finish quota. This makes nonprofit agencies best for those that are too troublesome for other agencies, like disabled old people, they can deliver qualified services to them. 3.
