Katniss Everdeen lives in this world where her district provides coal for the capitol where the rich people who run the world live. The Hunger Games is where two kids, one boy and one girl, from each of the 12 districts get sent into an Arena where they have to fight to the death. Whoever wins gets supplied with food for a year and can not be messed with by the capitol again. Katniss is the girl who gets sent in from her district.
