Northrop Grumman Corporation, which is the company I work for, is a leading global security company providing innovative systems, products and solutions in unmanned systems, cyber, and logistics and modernization to government and commercial customers worldwide. The organization I work for is Missile Defense Agency and our mission statement reads, “MDA’s mission is to develop, test, and field an integrated, layered, ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends against all ranges of enemy ballistic missiles in all phases of flight.” Based on my work experience and what I’ve seen, I would say they do a good job of sticking to this mission. What impresses me the most is the fact that squarely meeting their obligations, fiscally and technologically, isn't just a business goal, but a moral imperative.
