Now ever heard of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which became popular recently due to its COVID-19 vaccine. Now put the two of those together and then turn it into a Superbowl ad. Pfizer used the humor to latch onto the watcher and then stated their true motive: although it may seem only up to doctors to discover the cure for cancer, finding a proper solution requires the help of the masses. For example, Pfizer paired the lyric “That's Why They Call Me Mister Fahrenheit” with the man that invented the thermometer, or the lyric “I'm Traveling at the Speed of Light” with Albert Einstein. Many of the shots follow this pattern, with lyrics matching the person on screen. One of the other notable ones is pictures of Rosalind Franklin, a British chemist whose work was greatly unappreciated in her time, and Dr. Kena Swanson, the vice principal of viral vaccines at Pfizer, accompanied with the lyric "I wanna make a supersonic woman of you.” There are a couple thrown in just for fun, like when the lyrics say the word “world” in the middle of a line and the camera shoots to a globe for just a second. There is also another scene at the end where the lyrics say “I don't wanna stop at all,” while showing their website, LetsOutdoCancer.com. It is smart because it conveys the message that Pfizer doesn’t want to stop working on a cure for cancer. After that, they show a happy little girl who looks like she just beat cancer because her bracelet gets cut off and she gets the Honor Walk.
