Indeed, I conquer to the fact that there are still a number of improvements needed to be undertaken to build strong nurse-client relationship. As asserted by Prest and Keller (1993) that different levels of interaction systems are required to explore the perceptions of people regarding their lives, their existence and their problems in order to understand and/or craft better ways to solve the problems, creating and sustaining strong nurse-client relationships is one factor that go a long way to enhancing EBP. I find the uptake of evidence-based practice is one of the fields that has profoundly affected the paradigm shift and is woven into each of the nursing fields, and since wide researches have been conducted so far, it imperative to note that the available material will equip and provide needed assistance. Stevens (2013) argues that the use of the knowledge which is gained from quality improvement efforts will definitely generate evidence needed to make systems improvements and transform healthcare. Therefore, utilizing the available resources in addition to conducting further researches, exploring on well-intended expert opinions and working together with the willing partners from the academy for discovering what works to improve health care guarantees growth of the profession. It is true that there a number of challenges to improving the profession, but there is no magic bullet for bringing success into the practice, several strategies are needed. Furthermore, what works in the context of care should be identified and the context variables implementation. Hence, based on the analysis of LoBiondo-Wood and Haber (2013), conducting periodic EBP training and encouraging mentorship, especially by those nurses who have vast experience in the evidence-based practices should be prioritized. Typically, evidence based practice critiques the research findings, quality improvement data and expert opinion to single out the most appropriate approaches of improvement. On the other hand, clinical research uses the existing methods and processes in the search for improvement i.e. it is based on the opinions and tradition and nothing can be done more.
Indeed, the core business of the healthcare planners is to always make improvements on quality and efficiency of healthcare services. Thus, engaging in meetings where opinions, researches and other relevant knowledge is shared allows comprehensive learning, effective research and crafting or invention of better approaches to ensure patients and nurses enjoy the services and the health care environment as implied by Munhall (2012) and Torrey et al. (2014).
Wallis (2012) makes implication that the prime objective of EBP is to provide approaches that can be applied effectively to prevent, detect and provide care of health disorders. Thus, obtaining a magnet status and evidence-based projects and should integrate current best evidence from research with clinical policy and practice to improve healthcare
