In a totalitarian government, the general population are kept loyal and gullible. 1984 by George Orwell is an account of Winston who lives in victory mansion of Oceania and is controlled by a totalitarian government, whose "pioneer" is Big Brother. The general population's defiant considerations and activities are for the most part smothered, yet can just go so far in a totalitarian government.
