There were many issues that arose during the O.J. Simpson murder case. The double murder took place in Los Angeles, California in 1994 and the criminal trial occurred in 1995. This was clear to be a double homicide. One of the victims was Nicole Brown Simpson, who was O.J. Simpsons ex-wife and since O.J. was a famous football player and coincidentally had prior accusations about domestic violence against Nicole, he became the main suspect. Even more in depth, this homicide would be classified as a felonious homicide for reasoning that this was unlawfully and knowingly, recklessly, or negligently caused the death of other people. In this case, two innocent people were left dead after being stabbed; Nicole’s cause of death was the slit of her throat that nearly decapitated her. Corpus delicti was not an issue in this case because they had the bodies and therefore knew that the crime charged was committed. A murder is a crime, a tort, and a moral wrong. Plausibly, O.J. thought Nicole was cheating on him with Ron Goldman and lost it. Which could lead for one to think it was heat of passion incident, if he showed up and saw the two of them there; that would make sense because previously it seemed that he had anger issues. This could have been voluntary manslaughter because their was the intention to kill and O.J did seem to have extreme rage on numerous different times. However, it seems like it was more premeditated than just a random act, seeing as he had the knife with him and he wore gloves. He surprisingly did not clean up or try to hide anything like most assailants do, all he did was hide the knife and the bloody clothes he had on; most would think to make sure there were not any blood stains in the car or at his own
