Abstract
In this paper I will discuss the Center for the Army Profession and Ethic program and more specifically the ‘One Army, Indivisible’ theme. I will also list the primary mission of each of the Army components, with examples. I will also show the supportive roles and examples on how each component contributes to the success of the mission as an integral part of the entire force. I am guided on information for this paper from Army Doctrine Reference Publication No. 1 (ADRP 1), Technical Report 2016-01-Center for the Army Profession and Ethic Annual Survey of the Army Profession (CASAP) and the One Army, Indivisible Information Paper. First you must understand the impact that each component has on the total force. Then you must realize the amount of trust that is required to be maintained among the three components. In 2008 the Chief Of Staff of the Army recognized a problem with how the individual components perceived each other and this also played a role in how the American public perceived the American Soldier, because all they see is the United States Army uniform.

Then an explanation of the primary mission of each component as well as how each one supports the others including examples of what that support looks like. Also, what connecting soldiers from each of the components to train together in an effort to foster camaraderie and subsequently build trust using the CAPE themes looks like and means for the future of America’s
