The online interview assignment really granted me new insight into how I present myself to others, not only in interview situations but in general. The first couple videos I completed I looked uninterested and almost snotty and that is certainly, one hundred percent how I do not want to come across in any situation. I quickly learned the things I needed to change that dealt with my body language, my eye contact, my tone of voice, and my hand gestures. Physical body cues really impact what you are saying and how the other person takes it, which can often be taken in the wrong direction whether that is positive or negative. If one of them forgot a critique the other one spotted it and addressed it. For example, one classmate mentioned my fidgety hand movements and the mock interviewed stated that she did not even notice that. I found that very beneficial in that some people may notice things and some may not when completing an interview so to ensure your success it is key to just stop those different habits.

I went inside a court room for the first time, intending to watch two to three cases and then leaving in order to complete my needed hours. I ended up staying for twelve cases because I knew that is what I wanted to do; I could see myself doing that as my career. Also, during the time I took the Political Science class a member of my family was seeking legal advice and filled a case against a nursing home that my Aunt was previously placed, in because she was wrongfully abused, which soon lead to her death. I often looked over the paper work of the case because it gave me a relatable instance of something that I could potentially have to deal with in the future if I choose a Attorney as my career. It gave me a new insight to the justice system as well as the process that many had to seek for advice and guidance. I’ve always wanted to help others and being a Attorney it does help others, but in a
