Could the fire at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory have been prevented? I am not going to answer that question just yet. Without assessing all of the information to prevent the making of unfounded accusations. First things first you may be asking yourself what a Triangle Shirtwaist is. A triangle shirtwaist is a type of blouse that many women wore in the early 1900's.
Throughout the memoir and use of personal exposure, Wiesel writes many similes relating to fire and flames. Usually, when similes about fire are made, they indicate destruction. On page thirty-four, Wiesel writes, “Never shall I forget those flames that consumed my faith forever” (Wiesel 34). This quote conveys that by the flames consuming his faith, Wiesel has lost one of the most important aspects of his life. A flame, a hot glowing body of ignited gas that is generated by something on fire, has the ability to scientifically completely burn up anything.
In “To Build A Fire” by Jack London, he uses many literary elements to send a message to the reader. The mood changes as the man starts to struggle as the plot raises. The setting is the most important part of the story. Flashbacks are used to show how the man’s attitude despite of what other people say. Symbolism is used to show a hidden message..
I’ve been burned many times but, I have 3 memories I can remember clear about being burned. The first one day I was walking in the kitchen when my brother was cooking noodles on the stove he was only like six or seven, but he didn’t ask anybody to get it for him so he grabbed the pot off the stove it’s like I could see it coming, the pot turned flipped and pour all over him the water and everything. It burned him but he healed up right and got back to normal.
I remember just looking at the corn fields and thinking where are we going. I fell asleep of course and we got to where we were I was so confused. We were in the parking lot of a run down gas station to get gas. My mother had five dollars to her name and she had hoped that the five dollars would get us to where we needed to go. The car was so deprived of gas that when she put in five dollars worth, the finger didn't even move.

A couple yards from the playground, a swing set stood swinging in the soft breeze. The grass was a bright green and the sky was cloudless. The air smelled fresh and wonderful. I could still taste the hamburger I had before we had left. I was four years old and my grandma was taking me to the park
When summer time came around and people were getting excited about sleeping in, and relaxing, but for me it was fishing with my grandpa. Whose name was, Davy Adams, we used to fish for all various kinds of fish: garfish, redfish, perch any fish you could imagine. Nothing was better to me and my grandpa than sitting out under the sun throwing a fishing pole out in the water, kicking back in a chair and waiting. Growing up my grandpa would take me to do a lot of things as a child but fishing was my all-time favorite thing to do. If my grandpa and I were driving down the road and spotted a bridge with a creek or river under it we would pull over and would get out and look over the rail to see if we see any fish, if either one of us seen a fish
The day came it was early morning, bird singing, warm temperature, and a beautiful blue sky perfect weather. I woke up and it was fishing time, I was so excited. I remember my room being so messy and my parents told me to clean before we left, so I did. I was so excited that I cleaned my room and did some other chores around the house so fast cause I just wanted to go fishing. We got to the car and left to rocky mountain at our fishing spot and I was just being like most annoying kid would say, "Where are we?", "Are we lost?", and "Are we there yet?
One of my favorite memories growing up is how much time I spent reading. Whenever I got a new book I couldn 't put it down. I remember that I would always read on the bus ride home. Reading was something that I liked to do. As I’ve gotten older my choice of books has changed alot, a different genre for each of my phases.
Teenager: Thaline Roque What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory would be when I lived with my mom at one point in my life and at that time I had two younger brothers, we lived in a small house and there was this really nice cat that always came by and I would pet it and stuff and she actually had three babies two orange ones, one a boy and one a girl and another one which was a mixture of brown, black, and white.
strength through the Lord, of both God and man in spiritual warfare against the avenger, which is Satan. Many Christians are blinded by Satan and his devils thinking they are created for their own good pleasure, while God says He created them for His good pleasure. Could this be why there are so many dying or dead Christians filling church pews? The ungodly live in a wretched state, trying to pacify their anguished soul and believing that death will bring an end in the grave. The ungodly work to achieve such a state by striving to shut out any mention of God or His purpose in them, yet their minds and their hearts cannot be brought into unity with each other.
The summer I was six was a happy one. I had a new baby brother, my days were spent playing outside and my nights catching fireflies. There was a lake house my family would spend weekends at. Situated at the top of a steep hill, the house was surrounded by old, stately trees. In one of the trees there was a rope swing that was positioned to be pushed out over the hill.
