The Odd Squad Nick Ramsey, Molly Wibble and Karl Mooney all have the same problem and that is being bullied at Emily Dickinson Elementary School by a boy named Roy. Nick is constantly being shoved in his locker. Emily is always having her shoes tied together and being found sprawled in the hallway. Karl has been found more than five times hanging from his shorts on a coat hook. The problem is when either one of them is asked by an adult what has happened neither one of them will admit to who is doing the wrong. The school counselor Dr. Daniels eventually teams the three up together when they all land in her office at once. They exchanged numbers to coordinate but the very first time either one contacted or talked after being assigned to a group was when Roy shoved Nick in his locker again and Nick needed help to get out so he contacted Molly to help him. Afterwards the only reason the three came to an agreement to work together as a team was because of the school janitor Mr. Dupree who encouraged them to stand up for themselves. The kids decided that they would need to find Roy’s weakness and use it against him. To do so the kids had to launch “Operation Bully Bait” which was based on the kids sneaking into their counselors’ office and reading Roy’s file to see what was really important to him. Once the group found the information they needed they came up with a plan to retrieve that item and use it against him to make him stop bulling them. The kids were actually shocked to discover what meant so much to him. It was a stuffed pig. Nick, Molly and Karl eventually retrieved the stuffed pig better known as OinkDexter but not without several mishaps in between. When it came down to Roy trying to get his stuffed pig back he had to team up with Nick to try and get it back from Molly. Roy told Nick that the reason he loved this stuffed pig so much is because it smelled like his Mom and it’s been two years since he has seen her.
