Many people have varying opinions on whether or not humans born basically good or evil. Personally, I feel that people are born more good than evil. Although we are born good, I feel that our environment and personal experiences further influence how good or evil we are. For example, I feel that we learn to be more good by others when we are taught how to be respectful and helpful to others. On the other hand, I feel that if we have examples of violence or other harmful activities, we are more likely to be bad. I do not believe that children are born with the intent to hurt others which is why I feel that we are born more good than evil. Many of my peers had both similar and opposite opinions regarding this topic. Because of religion, some believe that children are born evil and must learn to be good. Due to the support of facts, many people can have similar truths, but can be different from another due to ones own interpretation. In addition, I feel that as we grow, what we believe to be true is ever changing due to the introduction of further knowledge. Many of my classmates had similar beliefs as I in regard to truths being backed by facts.
One of the ever-changing questions of our world are morals and what is considered right, just or good. I feel that ultimately, we, as individuals, make the decision on what we believe to be right, just or good.
