Can women have it all? Managing career and family while maintaining sanity isn’t easy, but while there are obstacles facing women’s success, most women believe they can have it all: fulfilling career, relationships, and children. It has been known from history that women have always had problems in succeeding in the workplace. Where mainly white males are dominants. A good example of women that has to succeed in the industry dominated by white male. The Oprah Winfrey Show is one of the most successful daytime talk shows in history. However, in the beginning, she was born to a single mother and grew up in extreme poverty. Her start to life was rough and she was constantly passed back and forth between her grandmother. Since she didn’t have a father figure in her life. She also shared that she was sexually abused at a young age. However, in her career, we would think that she went right to the daytime talk show. Most moms are afraid to work because of the “working mom guilt.” Society’s point of view has changed, but there is still a deeply rooted belief that women staying home to raise children are somehow the “ideal” scenario. Most of older people think that is either being selfish and have a job or be a devoting their lives to their children. However, finding a balance can be very challenging, and even if women suffer from ‘working mom guilt” their career may be suffering as well. It might keep them from accepting a promoting with a lot of responsibilities and how it may affect their families. Additionally, having a great balance between work and home should be easier. But in a world where we always seem to be rushing everywhere, doing everything, it is no wonder women
