In this book, Chaleff gives tools for followers to effectively support their leaders in order to create a productive and satisfying working relationship. Chaleff also recognizes that followers can also be leaders and gives tools to learn how to foster an organizational culture that will encourage followers to speak up about issues. This book compliments Maxwell's book about the 360 degree leader from the perspective that leaders can and should be in all levels of an organization, not just at the top.

In this book, Maxwell narrowed a plethora of perspectives on leadership characteristics he gathered from leaders across all walks of life into 21 laws. He developed the 21 laws as a foundation for leadership by finding similarities between different leadership principles and concepts. This book is a great starting point for people who want to begin their journey towards becoming a great leader. This is the foundation that a person can build upon and then add more insights with Maxwell's other books as well as the books in this bibliography.
