The Great Orion Nebula holds the key how the Sun and all the stars in the galaxy was born. The Milky Way is filled with billions of stars in every direction. From Earth the naked eye can see large dark patches in the sky. The clouds of dust cast shadows from the back of the stars, where the stars are shining their light through lower dust clouds blocked by light. What astronomers found with the tgas is that it can sometimes glow; the bright glowing clouds are called “Nebulas”. Each is unique in its own way. The Eagle Nebula is 4 light years in size and the Corona Nebula has a distinct green glow. The colors reveal what gasses the Nebulas are made of. Oxygen gasses creates a green glow, where hydrogen gas creates a red glow. The colors of the gas tells astronomers what it is, where it's located, what the physical conditions are, how dense, hot, and what it's made of. The gas is heated from a mysterious source and glows at thousands of degrees hidden deep within the nebula.
Hidden within the Orion Nebula are some of the youngest stars just a few hundred thousand years old. A nebula has baby stars in every spiral arm in the galaxy. Gravity pushes the matter down into what is the beginning of life of a star. As gravity pulls closer to the disk it becomes denser and hotter, at 18 million degrees. Hydrogen atoms fuse together to

Gas emits from the center at over 3 million miles an hour. It began by a powerful event in the past. Due to the writing on old Chinese manuscripts, they noted that there is a star shining brighter than any other. That it is visible only during the day, but mysteriously vanishes. Today the Crab Nebula lies in the exact position where the Chinese observed the star to be. What they witnessed was the Crab Nebula being born. It was made by a massive collision of a star at the end of its life, Supernova
