In 1988, bin Laden created a new group, called al-Qaeda (“the base”) that would focus on symbolic acts of terrorism instead of military campaigns. This group apart of many terrorist attacks that they got away with. Years later, the CIA agents traced a location to Osama’s compound and finally caught him. Former president Barack Obama was receiving hate because of what he done, but if anyone had a problem he would refer them to ask Osama bin Laden.

They justify their bloody acts on social, economic and political unfairness. Or they would take inspiration from beliefs or spiritual principles. Most forms of terrorism were motivated by warfare between races, their were struggles between the rich and poor or battles between political outcasts and elites. Most terrorism are ethnically based separatism movements, like the Palestine Liberation Organization or Republican Army. Former cartel of Medellin are considered the narco-terrorists because all they do is combine drug trafficking with the terrorism tactics to scare and bother the government and population. Many terrorist groups are inspired by religious or prophetic scriptures. Al-Qaeda and IS are the two groups that are related to justify their extreme actions against non believers. The IS wants to establish a Caliphate which means an Islamic-ruled state. How different terrorist groups act is informed by what they are trying to achieve. The IS, al-Qaeda and the Army of God ( a Christian anti-abortion group based in the U.S. sometimes adopt a reactionary perspective aimed at stopping or resisting social, economic, and political charges.
